Summer Projects

This is the broken pipe behind our cabinets. Our kitchen looked like this for a long time!

Before tiling.

We put 12x12 granite tile on the counters and 4x4 tumbled slate on the backsplash. Haven't grouted it yet. Maybe next weekend! :)

My cute kids!

This is our new pet Agan! Wesley named it. He has been a lot of fun to watch. We put out a hummingbird feeder. The first few days it seemed like Agan was trying to shoo off his new friends. It was funny. Don't know if there are eggs in the nest. It is way to high to see. The kids really want a dog..but they will have to settle for the wild animals at our house.--they take care of themselves!

Speaking of wild animals, just yesterday we had 3 adult wild turkeys with a ton of little babies in our backyard. And few days ago, we had 3 deer, two of which where 2 points.

Friday, I was in the basement right by the window and a doe walked right up. I was less then 2 feet away from the deer. It was neat to see it so close up! No need for the zoo...come to my house!
